Cairns to Cooktown via The Bloomfield Track and Emmagen Creek

Today the motorcycle adventure was taken to the next level (for us anyway 😅), in Cairns we stripped the luggage on the bikes down to the bare essentials before mounting up and travelling north to Cape Tribulation and the end of the sealed road, we then tackled the famous Bloomfield Track in the Daintree Rainforest and successfully (kind of!) made it across our first creek crossing at Emmagen creek!
We then continued travelling north along the stunning Bloomfield Track, crossing a few more smaller creeks and other tricky dirt roads before arriving in beautiful Cooktown to rest up for the night, we both agreed that today was our favourite day on the motorbikes since we left Sydney, the creek crossings and the Bloomfield Track were scary but so much fun! 😁😁
Tomorrow we'll continue our ride up the Cape York Peninsula to The Tip of Australia!
